Onboarding Talent&Pro awarded first prize

Talent&Pro has won the award for best onboarding of the Netherlands! The award was presented on Thursday 4 November during Onboard Amsterdam. Hundreds of guests that attended (in person or digitally) saw Kine Bakers (Coordinator Onboarding) and Paul van der Meer (Manager People Development) receive the trophy. In the exciting final round, Talent&Pro took on Brocacef, Voys and Royal Flora Holland.

 

ONBOARDING AS THE DEFINING MOMENT OF THE EMPLOYEE JOURNEY

As a development company of highly skilled professionals, Talent&Pro attaches great importance to a complete and comprehensive onboarding of new employees. The start of your career is such an important phase in your career that Talent&Pro has developed an extensive programme for starters. People Development Manager Paul van der Meer explains: ‘As a secondment provider, it is extremely important that you properly inform your employees about what working at Talent&Pro entails. A bit of history and getting to know the organisation is indispensable in this.’

 

THE PERFECT PREPARATION FOR A CAREER AT TALENT&PRO

The professional and skills training provided during onboarding also ensures that when the consultants start they have already been thoroughly prepared, according to van der Meer. ‘They are therefore of direct added value to our clients.’ Moreover, onboarding is being continuously improved. For example, Talent&Pro started last year with Appical, the platform with which part of the information supply during onboarding is organised digitally and interactively.

 

PROCESS AND TEAMWORK KEY TO ONBOARDING SUCCESS

As coordinator, Kine Bakers is the point of contact for new colleagues during onboarding and therefore knows better than anyone what makes Talent&Pro’s onboarding unique: ‘In our onboarding, different teams and colleagues play a role. HR takes care of the administration, the T&P Academy arranges the training courses and our Account Managers and People Managers inform the consultants about what they can expect from a career at Talent&Pro. This award is the crowning glory of a well-organised onboarding programme, but the real heroes are of course the starters who go through our onboarding process. It is their enthusiasm and commitment that makes our onboarding so incredibly cool. I feel honoured and very proud that that Paul and I were able to receive the Onboard Award on behalf of Talent&Pro!’
